ASJ Locksmiths were called to a property in Borehamwood after the homeowner reported problems with a key and turn euro cylinder. The lock had become increasingly unreliable, raising concerns that they could become locked out of their home if the issue worsened.
Alex attended the property and carried out a full inspection of the door and locking mechanism. It was quickly established that the thumb turn on the inside of the door was operating correctly, however the key side of the euro cylinder had completely failed and was no longer functioning. Had the fault been left unresolved, the resident could easily have found themselves unable to gain access to their property.
To restore the security and reliability of the door, the faulty euro cylinder was removed and replaced with a new high-quality cylinder. The new lock was professionally fitted and thoroughly tested to ensure smooth operation from both the inside and outside of the property.
